History
The Cup was first played in 1984, then under the name P18 Cup. With two exceptions, the cup has always been played exclusively with flickers. Organizer Club P18 IK is a football club exclusively for girls.
Over the years, 1000s of girls have come to Gotland and Visby, to celebrate football during the first weekend of August. Most participating clubs have usually come from Stockholm and Mälardalen over the years, but teams from Värmland, Dalarna and Småland have always used to show up. Especially happy we have always been to see foreign girls, find here to our island. Finnish and English clubs have been here and the tournament has been hosted by the NWA Lightnings club from the USA on several occasions over the years.
