Habocupen 2025 and its organizing association ("we", "us", or "the organizers") will process your personal data in connection with your registration and participation in the Habocupen 2025. The main purpose of this processing is to manage your registration, administer team information and results, communicate with participants, and provide you with a quality tournament experience.
We are the data controller responsible for the processing of your personal data. This includes any information you provide to us directly or indirectly when registering for the tournament, such as your name, address, personal ID or birthdate, email address, phone number, and any other data required to organize your participation.
We will process and store your personal data in order to fulfill our contractual obligations related to the tournament – including administrative tasks, updates to registrations, certificate issuance, results tracking, communication, and post-event evaluation. The legal basis for processing your data is the agreement that arises through your registration and participation in the tournament. Providing your personal data is necessary for participation.
Your data will be retained during the duration of the tournament and for a reasonable period afterward, to allow us to fulfill legal obligations, complete evaluations, and manage related activities.
Under applicable data protection legislation – including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) – you have the right to request access to the personal data we process about you. Use of Name and Image in Marketing
During the Habocupen 2025, matches and events may be photographed or filmed. By participating in the tournament, you acknowledge that you may appear in still or moving images taken at the event. These may be used by the organizers for communication or marketing purposes. Your participation implies consent to such use, in accordance with relevant national laws (e.g., the Swedish Act on Names and Pictures in Advertising, 1978:800).
If you do not wish to appear in promotional materials, please contact the organizers in advance of the event.
